Ceramel is CERA Dental Clinic's own laminate technique, developed to combine the strengths of ceramic and enamel. The laminates are made to a precision of 0.1 to 0.2 mm, and the aim is to keep as much of the healthy tooth as possible: in the clinic's words, to preserve the healthy tooth and add only the look.
Each Ceramel laminate is made for one patient in the clinic's own laboratory, CeraDento Lab, so the shape and shade can be discussed directly with the dentist and the technician, and adjusted quickly when needed. The material is E.max or zirconia, chosen at consultation.
From consultation to bonding takes one day to one week, and a check-up within two weeks of bonding completes the treatment. The clinic describes almost no downtime.
